Can you please appraise these .travel domains

Are there any potential trademark issues with nrl.travel, afl.travel etc?

Like all domains, it all depends on how they are used which will cause any trademark issues. If you own a travel agency and use them as a location for tour packages based on each niche then it would not cause any grief as their trademarks fall outside of the travel sectors class 37,42

I've also got olympic.travel and olympicgames.travel which I'm using for internal promotions on a closed market group and I've had no issues yet. (crossed fingers)

I've also got 35 different .reviews domains which are all on brands from the top 200 Australian companies, like telstra.reviews to name just one. Because they are being used as a review site I'm not expecting any issues.

Can you explain a little please,

I already own a number of travel brands which sell tours specifically tailored for these sporting codes.

They are just worthless domains. Just read the other forum, 1000 domains like that? My god you have an enormous learning curse ahead of you, you are wasting your money right now.

I'm glad I'm a quick learner then. :)

Olympic domains are more trouble than they're worth. The International Olympic Committee has trademark protection over almost everything Olympic, and in the .au space 'Olympic' comes under the Reserved List Policy.

Just be careful Olympic is a protected term, as is Bank and other names which require government or other approvals
