69.com.au is a handreg from the 90s, a 2 character .com.au prime for adult store/ content owners.
I'd agree that 69 isn't much use to a dubbo dentist, but a quick search for adult store shows how many store owners are in need of a memorable name.
As for needing lots of money to develop..again, stay away from the snoopy snacks.
Surely/shirley, I don't need to tell you how many adult sites are built by outsourcers for less than what you've valued the name..

IMO 69 has negative connotations and is a taboo word to many people. yes it could be used as an adult store but that's like calling my new adult shop GoldenShowers.com.au. There are better names to brand.
If you used it in the contect of the year 69 it would still have connotations to its adult use.

a nice looking online store can be created with @$400 + time importing products.
doesn't mean anyone is going to get to see it as you still have to make it rank and thats where the money will be spent IMO
69 will always be what we all know it to be.
opinions are like having your first baby, everybody tells you what to do but you should just nod your head, say thank you, then go do what ever you like once they are gone.

That would be a long bow to draw for adult names. There is near no market for adult .com.au's. As an example I can remember someone here letting shemale.com.au drop, they couldn't get any interest at all.
Shemale.com by comparison sold for $500,000 many years ago.
NN.com.au is another area that is not very strong with .com.au. I think you should simply offer it for sale, and see what the market is really like for a name like this.

Some names would have buyers lining up round the block if offered for sale, despite never having been sold before.

ok, what i meant is the value of the domain is what it gets sold for, not what the current owner thinks it is worth.
just like a house auction when they think they can get $400K but have to settle for $380k OR it blows out and they get $450K
