I doubt that they'd want to drop their domain name in the AU space.

It is a big retail-online postage service, I think they run several other areas of the business as well.

I know them because they sponsor many online retail events I have been to over the years.

The "wollongong.com.au" redirect problem rears its head once again.

The temando.com website continues to function as normal and there are no disruptions to email services, so nobody is aware that the redirected temando.com.au has expired.

I've never heard of them, but having had a look, why would anyone else want to try and acquire it? Just asking for trouble down the track imho.

"appliances" is a generic word, whereas "temando" is not - and it is solidly trademarked.

I've heard of a couple of members on here who have had problems getting renewal emails from Domain Central in the past - perhaps that has something to do with it expiring? Even so, it is still the registrant's responsibility to be aware.

Temando are big in the ecommerce space; The Packers invested in the company a few years ago. But agree, I personally wouldn't touch the name, but that being said there are others out there as we know who operate a little diffetently than most (e.g. e-bay.com.au)
