misspells have been popular for YEARS, just look at the word
accommodation
significant keyword domains with high chance of ROI will
almost always get purchased as so many people just can't spell or typo.

google "did you mean..." has helped but people don't read they just want to click the first thing that comes up on the list.

as bacon farmer said, you'll get nothing then when it drops all you need is 2 people who both can't spell !

Most people would still regard the price as a weird anomaly though.

You're going to lose a lot of money if you go around just registering stuff for no good reason other than some loosely related sale.
