It's an interesting one, I don't mind it.

I'm more optimistic on this one than snoopy, but definitely add a link that's clickable to Netfleet in the header and popup. Good luck with the sale, you might not get mega bucks, but I reckon someone will see value in the name and the work you've done. And credit for running with an idea behind the name.

I think we often forget that there is a healthy market out there for people that can't or aren't interested in building a site but want one without paying big money. The trick is finding them.

This is a brandable which as chris states ........developement is the key, i actually noticed a sign on a car the other 808dude.com which turned out to be a site aiming at the teen market, i got no idea what 808 means? Perhaps it's just a branding idea?

Spacey,

I think names starting with zero sell at a discount because they fail the radio test. 40.com.au sold for $399 and took 6 months and hours of work of work to get sold. Look at other sales like 37.com.au selling for $2 at auction, that is the flip side of the coin. There is no obvious money angle for these names in terms of usage.

How is development the key?

Developement will give it an identity because other than something to remember it for it is like your domain ... just a number until someone creates something memorable. I do agree that a zero at the beginning lessons the value, i guess at least 40 could mean something to 40 year olds, whereas 02 is not likely to attract many babies. I do think these days zero and naught do get confused and complicate things, although if it was in regards to free beer i would try both options ( whoops i've said too much) ....again

Thanks for the feedback guys. I really appreciate it. I believe 141.com.au sold for $1,600+ @ NetFleet last month, that plus other smaller sales previously. I have about 200+ domains, mostly not related to my trade. The Australian domain watchdog states, we're not allowed to buy domains for the sake of merely reselling it ( or the domains will be deleted). Unless the domain is monetised. I had to call them to inquire about the policy, hence you see my domain furnished with a website. it's actually half-finished so it won't be sold until it's been completed. Of course, I'd rather sell it as it is, but i don't know about guys ( and gals) but i'd rather not take the risk.....

So was Google @ some point,or FB or Tumblr..... but have a closer look 'around'..... that's where the young aussie domaining industry is headed to :)

Funny how you are quoting words instead of numeric domains as examples, maybe the government will lower the drinking limit to 02 ..... then you might be on a winner

the thing about 141 is it sounds more brand-able compared to "02"

I know the guy who runs the site 422.com.au as well

Are you hear to listen to opinions or are you here to try and convince people of its value?

The domain owner should sit down in appraisal threads if they genuinely want to hear opinions on value.
