Hi guys

I own this domain since August 2009. I was approached by a guy from a marketing company who have a client (a pharamacy) with the same name and offering to buy this domain off me.

As a web designer with SEO skills I am using this domain for its PR value and to link keyword anchor text within related articles to my client's website. So the value of this domain to me is it PR value, it's age and how it helps me with my SEO services to my client. I do have high PR other domains so I am happy to part with this domain provided the price is right.

GAKT shows for the search term "stfrancis" - 40,500 broad local monthly searches and 22 exact local monthly searches. For the keyword "st francis" it has 60,500 broad local monthly searches and 1,600 exact local monthly searches. However I believe the value of domain for a buyer is not the number of searches but the branding it offers. Eg: If the busines name is St Francis Pharmary or St Francis Chemist, they can have the domain stfrancis.com.au for short.

Please let me know what you think this domain is worth or how much I should ask for it. estibot.com valued this domain at US$1200 but I don't know the merit of estibot.com.

I would probably sell it if their offer is decent.

I would not trust Estibot.

I Wouldn't use that link building strategy any more to be honest as Google is hitting it very hard.

i went to st francis xavier primary school and there are a lot of them, so i would say your exacts and broads may produce a lot of bounce from people looking for other stuff.

As a quick url for his business then i think its good, i'd sell it. price? $500+

don't talk "broad" and "exacts" with this type of business, talk "memorable" , "short", " brandable" thats what they want to hear.

his total market is @ 3-5klms away, thats it, he will be a traditional marketer, newspaper, brochure, business card.

short sweet names like this WORK for these businesses as apposed to saintfrancispharmacy.com.au

the only thing i see is it doesn't survive the "radio test", so don't mention that
