Spam Phone Call

Today the phone rang and it was basically a reading of the script..

"We noticed your website and we think it's great but you are not ranking for the keywords you are trying to rank for in the Google search engine".

She didn't know what to do when I said i'm interested if she could name just one keyword that is relevant to the site she mentioned where we are not ranking on page one.

She was unable to ;) and then said "Thanks for your time, have a great day" and hung up.

I guess spam emails are not having the effect they once did for them.

Spam filters must be doing their job well....unfortunately the phone is not so critical.

On a sidenote, my 17yo daughter (who knows everything and moved out of home) picked up a huge bundle of ipad screen covers cheap from an opshop was elated and bragging she sold the whole bundle for a great price on Ebay with the NZ buyer saying they have made payment through NoChex but wants it sent to Nigeria :D :D :D . Now I'm not one to hold enough of a grudge with her to let her go through with it and told her of the scam. I guess I will see if she thinks I'm full of it in the next day or so. Welcome to world trade darling ;).

i mentioned in a different thread that my friend went to india on a uni tour and went to a call centre that was full of blind people, this is why they can't describe your website or adlib details. I wonder if its the case here?

Yes, I too have teen offspring who know everything. aren't we lucky?
I recently read in the age or somewhere else that screen covers are not actually required
Smart phones and tablets incl ipads don't scratch
All the screenprotector does is make the screen hard to read
