Hipster traffic value

I get where your coming from.

Other experience that I can offer you is around your Marketing Phrase. You want a high percentage of your 15,000 potentials to actually click through.

Page titles and descriptions become very important. You need to use words that sound fun and make people want to click. Otherwise in a tough vertical, people will just ignore it if it says something like "Retro Stuff" or whatever. This is because you need to stand out in the crowd.

Same thing with PCC, you can get a lot of impressions, but you need to find the sweetspot for the descriptive text so people will want to click on it.

It will be interesting to see how you go... Good luck.

You can still make a great website business using any reasonable domain name.

Aren't the people here interested in domains though?

If the domain is a key focus and the domain in only average what chance does that person have? It is nothing like people who start with ordinary domains but have interests in non domain areas and can do well starting a site.

3. As far as Hypster.com.au goes... well you could build your business branding around this name and focus on growing the business.

That's just how I would go about it anyhow. HTH. :)

Why not just use hipster.com.au? What does hypster.com.au add? Maybe a hundred or so people a month looking for free music if it ranks well.

Hi Snoopy, some people here are interested in flipping too aren't they? Why else would they build a retro vintage website on the domain if not to flip it?

I agree, with you if you are only interested in the domain value, then why build a website?

What is your thinking here? Is the website it to try and get traffic to the domain before selling it?

I would assume people hope to make money out of it. The idea of developing a name to flip it is a very limited market.

What is your thinking here? Is the website it to try and get traffic to the domain before selling it?

I think it is going to be valued on revenue, so if there is traffic and minimal revenue it is going to sell for a minimal price.

I see where your coming from Snoopy. You just want to show how much money the domain makes to increase it worth.

It will still need SEO or SEM wont it, so people will go there and then buy from the ebay store?

I assume the website would be sold with the domain name?

So Hipster seems more like a brand name to me. And Hypster is a brand.

-Regarding SEO, why would google rank a site with a whole lot of affiliate links like that well?
-Regarding SEM what chance does it have to make a profit from paid traffic when the revenue source is small commissions from ebay? The main keyword is going to cost ~$1 per click. There is no proper margin.
