First is a netAu: 'Vacancies'
GAK Local 551,000
880
110,000

Most likely for the Job market.

and the other is a comAu: 'NoReserve'

The Com and Net Equivelent of this redirect to Ebay International (or USA) 'no reserve' auction list......bit of an unknown for me, but a healthy platform for a local online auction site I guess :D

Thoughts?

Just shot an email to sedo...apparently they have one of them listed for sale from England (in GBP...noreserve) when the previous owner had it.

Just an update on this, Sedo got back to me this morning and cleared the listing after checking ownership themselves (may take a couple of days to clear all their listing locations).

Now...Any thoughts on these Yet? At the moment I'm holding them as I look into the intricasies of monetising and/or development.

i feel vacancies is the better of the two and could become a hotel/motel site, value is in the development ( in other words i got no frigging idea )

I don't like net.au at all.

Good luck taking on ebay and the like I say. If you (or whoever you sell to) have the type of backing to take on these guys then it really doesn't matter what domain you use. You could use freddysauctionhouse.com.au for all that matters.

So in terms of value, I'd not be placing a bid on either personally if they were to drop tomorrow.

Hope this helps.

I was originaly thinking hotels/motels and resorts too but Google tells me 'Vacancies' is linked to the Job Search market, so jobsearch it will probably be.

I dont think I need to take on ebay and beat them to win. 'NoReserve' just needs an auction listing platform and let it go from there. It could flop...depends on marketing/startup costs ....could come good and make money....it could invoke a response from either them or a potential competitor that may want to take them on. Either way there doesnt seem much risk at the moment.

Thanks for the replies so far.
