I purchased two domains with the hope of developing a site for each.. nothing up yet, but interested in what they might be worth solely as domain names:

myevents.com.au & smartbids.com.au

To be honest, not much more than the registration fee IMO.

Don't let that stop you from developing them though.. theres nothing "wrong" with either of them, they just don't have any value undeveloped.

Thanks for your input guys. I'm coming to realise they are not worth much solely as domain names. Having said that, I'm still planning on developing sites for these further.
