But Google doesn't recognize the hyphen does it? Perhaps some learned SEO people can comment here please? (I give permission to comment in my sales thread).

My apologies if I mislead anyone. Not done on purpose. "airfares" gets the 14,800 EXACTS, and the word separated gets 1600 EXACTS.

Interestingly, if you type the separated term into Google it automatically searches the combined term.

It is still very cheap.

Ned and I have both agreed this is a hyphen that needs to be examined more in depth.

Does Google recognise air-fares as a hyphen or as airfares. GKT says 1600 exacts if seperated eg air fares.

Whats everyone's thoughts on this?

Google doesn't care - they don't discriminate against hyphens (people do).

So in my opinion, the relevant statistic would be the sum of the two exacts - 14,800 + 1600 = 16,400

In don't think the hyphen would matter too much in googles eyes, particularly in this instance. Sounds like its common for people spell it both ways

But I did technically make a boo boo with my initial listing, so I'm going to reduce the price to just $125 + GST + COR.

Got to be worth it at that price.
