I like the idea of using it for online dating site and some kind of photo sharing.

keyword will generate traffic as GAKT exact is 2400 p/m

seems like a advertisement potential as well. Thanks for the feedback guys

What is the value of someone looking for "sexy ass". According to Google there is no advertisers bidding on the term so what is a visitor worth as a dating site?

Why would females even join a site like that? Might as well call it sausagefest.com.au because that is what it will be as a dating site.

You could dominate this term and still not really make anything in my view. Look at greener pastures.

.

mate, there are 3000 Australian typing the same keyword every month even though there is no Website. So if there was some sort of website those number will off course go up.even at .05 cents cpc, it is good pocket moey. I might be able to pull some strings with couple of people i know in the industry. For name like this there r way too many options in the market.

Has nothing to do with people looking for a website, they aren't searching for "sexyass.com.au".

The site would need to become massively popular for that to happen, just putting a site up won't change the search stats.

Maybe you can think up a list of "options" (a dating site, a porn site, a site selling bikinis, a cafe called "sexy ass", the new name for vegemite 2), but there isn't one obvious business model for the name because the term is not really worth anything. Whatever option is chosen will be plugging a square peg in a round hole.

I'm with James, and now scared of snoopy because of bacon farmer's comments! but i'll have a go !

wickedweasel dot com dot au , from my hometown of byron bay.

its not what your domain name is its what you make of it, these guys are making MILLIONS and have been for YEARS, the bikini weights about 2 grams LOL and ships worldwide for peanuts.

Be creative, choose your skills, if you bought sexyass and don't know how to build a website then sell it, if you do know how to build a website then go find someone that has a product to sell, if you know how to do SEO but not a good website then put some affiliate links on it, make some money then flog it to someone who knows how to grow the sales.

just my thoughts.

So basically you are reinforcing that the domain "Alone" is not worth anything. But as with any domain, if you put enough into making it brand-able then it as a "Business / Brand" can be something.

That again says the domain "Alone" is not worth anything as a stand alone item.

Example: I have a cardboard box that I sell million dollar gold rings out of. Doesn't make the box worth more than a free box you pick up at Coles.

To me sexyass.com.au is not worth any more of anyones time.

Snoopy you shouldn't be so dismissive of EMD search volume. I know you've never developed a website but if you ever do, you'll discover how you can turn that search volume into visitors, then clicks/leads, and revenue.

This applies for almost any domain - if people are searching for it's exact match, you have a huge advantage in the SE's, you see. Sometimes oddball domains (and longer domains) are even better if you are planning to develop as competition may be less - as long as the search volume is really there

And it doesn't have to be a huge investment. $50 on a minisite, $20 on content, $50 on some low-level off-page seo and you could might have a MFA site generating a few bucks/month.

Domaining has evolved from the 'register a heap of domains, park 'em for 10 years, then sell 'em off', I'm afraid. One has to work a bit harder and smarter than that these days to make a buck.

However saying that, I think this domain (and associated search volume) is probably not quite good enough to justify development- unless you have a personal interest in the subject matter in which case it's more a labour of love!

its not sexyass thats the conversation its the example of it, i feel as i go through these forums that TLD is god and thats just it ! , with enough effort and an easy to remember domain name it can be a winner

DavidL gets it right in saying you just can't park a domain for 10 years these days, the REAL money i believe is in development, value adding but it all gets back to your skill base and just doing what you are good at.

i bought a domain just 2 weeks ago, i'm not going to mention it until its complete but its already at number 7 for the desired search term, it wasn't even listed on google before i bought it ( which i thought was very strange? ) I plan to have it to top 3 by easter. It was a VERY attractive domainwhen i bought it but i think it is a VERYYYYYYY attractive domain now and i have only just started.

grab a piece of land and build flats not a house or worse a lawn to mow.
