What Happens To Dropped Domains Not Picked Up At Auction?

Forgive my ignorance if this is a stupid question, but just looking at the domain snapper auction today on NetFleet for dropped domains and I noticed a lot didn't attract a bid.

What happens to these domains? Do they just un-register and you have the chance of registering them like a new domain?
