More a brand type term than a search term in my view.

In Australia to say "I am looking for an auto" or "I am searching for an auto" doesn't make much sense (most people would probably assume they are talking about cars with an auto gearbox as opposed to cars generally). However a site called auto.com.au, most people would perceive that as a substantial car site in my view.
