Ok thanks for your opinion cant say I agree it doesn't roll off the tongue after all web-design.com.au doesn't roll off the tongue either but it isn't worthless and what person would even use I make webdesigns in a sentence.

what do you do for a living I am a webdesigner got a site I can look at sure you can check out web-designs.com.au I am aware it doesn't pass the radio test because of the dash.

Need web professional web design check out webdesigns.com.au

I removed the dash on purpose....

anyway its getting leads and searches for city.web-designs.com.au

so not selling just wondering what other opinions are and honestly johno it wouldn't matter if I owned webdesign.com.au you would still says its worthless :p

this is the kinda post i'd like to see have a response that says: go to the wiki for your answer !

in the wiki would be a poll of members that agree with the common response as this gets asked soooooooooooooo many times its now got boring IMO.

hypens suck, nets suck, plurals have various usage and depend on the purpose of the domain name + the actual word that is used, value depends on common terms/language " roll of the tongue ", radio test, misspells, these are all basics.

bla4bla.com.au vs blaforbla.com.au is a good example.

value of the words, insurance vs dentist ! makes a huge difference.

this domain has no value, hard to SEO, hard to promote, potentially bleed to competitors without the hypen, or competitors with a different spelling.

dump it

lol why on earth would I dump something making me money with little effort? Didn't a hyphenated domain sell just a few weeks ago for 5k? didnt a net.au sell for 18k not long ago? this is why I rarely post here anymore. blind leading the blind comes to mind here...

sold for 5k

you are "domain appraisals" , no one forced you to post.

owner builders was a .com.au so its another step up from the .net.au

if you post what we think is a good name thats the answer you will get, if you want an answer " you want" then that is never going to happen.

history in this section will show a variety of different $ appraisals so there is no need to get uppy

we'll see I have listed it on flippa as domain only and owner builders has less search valoume and lower cpc and is hyphenated how is it worth more then web-designs.com.au

Im just sick of everytime I post in this section its always the same drivel no matter the name:rolleyes:

and usually the same posters although snoopy hasnt come and said anything yet:eek:

sorry for my .com.au mistake, i honestly thought it was a .net.au whilst i was typing my reply.

the best way to prove us wrong is to sell it, then you can come back and make us eat crow.

but till then i stand by my appraisal.

you may want to read this thread as an example of good debate
https://www.dntrade.com.au/domain-appraisals/6661-generic-appraisal-waddaya-think.html

you will notice how we don't all agree but owner doesn't spit the dummy with anyone.
