Does anyone know why or in what instance this happens to .com.au domains?

Status serverRenewProhibited (PendingDelete - Hold)

Policy delete domains that are being contested therefore they cannot delete them - You are given 14 days to reply to the policy reason.

Correct me if im wrong guys

Usually, policy delete domains show that as the status;
Status: pendingDelete (Client requested policy delete)

Never seen what you've posted tho...
