Price "use by date"

i made the silly newbie mistake today on a domain someone wants, i didn't put a use by date on my counter offer.
i just thought i'd post that to bring it up as a must do for others.

I usually don't do it, wouldn't worry about it unless it is a negotiation tactic.

its just that i had another offer ! and its not a scam as i talked to him.

so i've decided 48 hours is a fair timeframe.
