What's new

Just curious..

Hey Guys,

Got a couple of domain names I thought were pretty good.

Would like to get a second opinion on them.

dyngo.com.au (playing on the word dingo)
meanmachine.com.au
oneclass.com.au
escapeau.com
statewidesuper.com

Was curious to see what you guys think.

Cheers! :)

meanmachine would be great for a "moster truck " company but your potential sale client is minimal.

dyngo, if you have to explain it ti sucks.

escapeau, adding au adds " concrete boots" to a domain

oneclass ? nah

statewidesuper ? WOW........ we do super statewide ! ? which state? "ohh i am sorry but you are not in our state so i will not be able to take your money"

sorry for the tough advice but thats what you asked for.

I think MeanMachine could apply to a large number of hotted up vehicles such as cars, tractors, motorbikes, speedboats and others, to me the only one with true value and good development prospects, good luck

Mean Machine is probably the best of the lot, only issue is a movie has the same name so it dominates bran terms on Google.

i saw that also but as a brandable domain it would work especially for direct type in urls, if it was a monster truck i could see people wanting to find the website and making the extra effort.

also the .com.au extension used correctly should take over the .com IMO

but it does get back to branding and $$$$pending behind it, so as for value? get rid of it and live with that decision.

it may help someone become rich but it won't be you.

Thought meanmachine.com.au stood out when I saw it, I still not really sure that holding it is likely to be profitable though. Could only find 1 company with a similar name. I think the odds are low and would probably drop it.

Develop it as what exactly?

Well i have already stated anything to do with hot cars, trucks, boats, motorbikes and other 'Hottted up stuff" I guess you would only have to look at street machine style mag to get an idea.

May i ask do you charge for these appraisals?

Last time I look at a street machine mag there was a lot more than just hot cars and trucks.

Still I don't really see trying to fit the name somewhere as a viable strategy here. When someone types in "mean machine" what are they looking to buy or sell? If that isn't clear it is probably a dud name for "domainer development" because the name is not the foundation, it is 1% of the equation. Basically it is "brandable domain". The kicker to all this is that developing it will put off most sales prospects.

I do, but only in banana bucks.

If i saw a name like meanmachine ....... i would not expect to be buying flowers, i tried to get CarChannel up and running at one stage, i think this better?
