high CPC

i'm not bidding on these so i thought it was a good chance to get some feedback.

i'm always interested in these high CPC's with small exacts

high competition, and mostly they just drop back to hand reg.

long tail yes, and i suspect no DA so keyword rich but ranking potential POOR.

$25 CPC seems inviting but will it rank? i doubt it

I have a few similar domains in the insurance space, with low search but high value. All hand reg.

I've been able to get them ranking, but the small number of leads generated each month means the work involved is only borderline profitable.

They're good if you have decent knowledge of the subject and can bang out some quick (but quality) content, but if you had to pay someone else to write the content the margins would be very slim or non-existent.

I think the first domain on that list is quite decent...

It will rank for the exact term pretty easily IMO.

But it's like setting up a shop in the desert and wondering why you are not doing much business.

In saying that, it would (should?) be a pretty easy sale of the website if that was your model.
