i'm just going to start this as it really hit home today for me.
i have a 5 and a 6.5yr old
and they just can't keep secrets
i actually had forgotten sunday is fathers day, that how busy i am and said to helena " i don't think i will go to her parents tomorrow so i can do more work, thats when she reminded me " its fathers day" thus its also her fathers day.
so honestly i am sitting here stressed because of my work load but also now mindful of the importance of fathers day ( mothers day etc) for not ME but for the kids and what they want, and they want "connection" with their father ( mother ) on these days.
i have no point or agenda, just wanted to give honestly my thoughts, perhaps this thread will have no replies and thats cool, but maybe someone reading it..... just one, will get what i am feeling
