Get .com AUTH code?

Any easy way to get the AUTH code for a .com we can't log into Domain Central to retrieve?

Any .com alternative to this: http://whois.ausregistry.net.au/password_recovery/recover_password.jsp?tab=0

We have access to the email on record for the domain.

Not that I know of, did you find out if it's possible?

I looked but couldn't find anything...

No couldn't find anything. The registrar was able to email it to the email address on record to help us out.

Problem was a friend bought a domain from a reseller who has since gone AWOL.
