Format issues with different versions of IE

I have been creating websites using Dreamweaver and have had awful trouble with the layout when the website is viewed in different browsers.

I am switching to Wordpress and am wondering if I am going to have the same issues.

You're not really comparing the same thing. Dreamweaver is software to help design/create websites. WordPress is not web design software, rather a blog/website system that's already been designed.

As long as your wordpress site uses a cross browser compatible theme then there really shouldn't be much difference between any of the major browsers and versions.
