To be honest I think the Facebook era might slowly be waning, so they really have to branch out or they'll go bust.

Facebook users are defiantly not clicking ads like they are use too.

Good thing is Facebook have recently updated many of their ad features to offer new things. Some recently developments such as - News feed ads, competitor search ads and a few other goodies as listed in davids post.

I am actually doing a bit of a post at the moment regarding this area.

I don't think the feed ads will be as big a success as some are claiming (for users, not Facebook). For a while now, people have paid to advertise their Page in order to build a userbase to get into a users feed. Now Facebook are going to turn around and charge them to reach their user base that they already paid to build. **** that!

You have to give them credit for trying to keep themselves current & relevant

They are one of the few companies that respond well to feedback

If I was an owner of this company, FB, and 5 months after my purchase its value was trending like this... I wouldn't be handing out much "credit".

Lame. New buttons & scrapbooks are not going to change things for facebook. Big thumbs down.
