I haven't bought a drop in a bit - maybe time to jump back in on pitstop.com.au
I can tell you that it was at least $800.Not sure what the final price was @topflight but it was caught by Domain Shield.
Is it just me or do they seem to be catching a lot more names recently?
I'd like to see what's in their bag of tricks. How do they score the better names always?I can tell you that it was at least $800.
And yes, they're catching a lot more!
I just realised they beat me on the other 2 domains I put bids on as well. Not sure what the final price was @topflight but it was caught by Domain Shield.
Is it just me or do they seem to be catching a lot more names recently?
I think you'll find that most people are reluctant to 'show their hand'.Anyone for tourguide.com.au? Maybe after missing out on pitstop.com.au I might have a crack at this.
I hear you on this. My thoughts have changed slightly with my busier schedule. I go early, put my best forward and if its meant to be (and cost me coin) then so be it.I think you'll find that most people are reluctant to 'show their hand'.
Notwithstanding the recent increase in early bids on Drop.com.au, many people take a strategic approach to their bidding (timing, bid amounts, disclosure of interest in particular domains etc).
Ink.com.au?
I think the question is "WHO?" ;-)I'd like to see what's in their bag of tricks.
That glitch occurs pretty regularly. Rely on the whois record for confirmation. Why does my screen say that Netfleet has lost auctions on drops and yet the whois shows holding@netfleet.com.au as the registrant contact email which normally means netfleet is awaiting payment doesn't it? Is there a glitch today?
I wonder why Freedom Furniture let it drop. Snooze has beds.com.au. Someone got excited with their bidNice 3 letter generic on the drops today, bed.com.au currently at $1,301 on Drop. Will be interesting to see which platform gets this one.
