What's happening with Canberra.net.au today? It was on Netfleet's list, but no longer seems to appear. (Though it still shows on their home page).

I see canberra.net,au is not in the netfleet results list as lost after being won on drop for $1,867. Netfleet has reported a 100% success rate for today so there is a chance that even a $10 bid would have won canberra.net.au if it had appeared.

If you read my earlier post, it was not available on Netfleet's list to bid on (though it did show last yesterday afternoon). If it was, I would have bid on it (I was winner on Drop.com.au).

It did show on their homepage; and it was in their promotional email yesterday.

Why it wasn't available today to bid on is a mystery. Conspiracy theories anyone? ;)

@elbranch - sincere apologies; I misread your post.

Why it didn't appear is a mystery (given it was there the previous day etc). My theory is that they had an "unofficial" backorder; or that they had done a private deal with someone. But hey, I might be way off the mark. ;)

Here is a screenshot of final 2 minutes; followed by screenshot of domains sorted by "exacts" (just in case it was hidden somewhere).

Something fishy going on again, PersonalTraining.com.au is not shown on Netfleet.com.au
There was an issue with the delete process at the registrar and so the domain didn't drop. It was auto-removed from the list, so nothing fishy going on at Netfleet in this case! Hat tip to Ned for the info.
So now we have a preview of the likely bidding activity for when it does delete - it hit $5,843 on drop.com.au.

My hat tip goes to Anthony from Domain Shield who explained it to me. It was a Policy Delete; and then it was temporarily "undeleted" for some reason late yesterday (Crazy Domains!); and then it was PD'd again with a 14 day time frame. It's now on the official list and set to drop (our time) on 4th April.

Bear in mind it might not drop at all - existing registrant still has potential opportunity to save domain!

who's in control ? i don't care about the name but i can not see why domains are dropping on random dates, regardless of PD, some domains drop after 16days, some after 30, so after ??? , its a lottery
i've been letting some domains drop as they were mistake purchases, no PD's , but they drop so randomly i can't understand why.
this personaltrainer........... is obviously a good domain, but to get dropped, then not then again for 4/4/15 seems like there is something wrong with the system and for crazyD( the apparent registra) to have some kind of control over that is also a worry IMO.
whoever bid the big money would obviously also be MEGA P*$$ED off.
and now why does the existing registrant have ability to renew it???? , it simply brings the whole process under consideration as i know if one of my low level domains went like this i'd have no chance of this "2nd chance" happening so WHO is in control ?
i like playing games, i just only want to know the rules.

Wanted to put a bid on Fab.com.au at Drop.com.au and for me the bid area is greyed out - tried firefox and chrome. Anyone else have any issues?
