Just a bit of trivia on a domain that is dropping today -
SPAM.com.au.
Apart from the obvious use of the word these days, older people like myself would know that SPAM is a famous product that has been around for decades. (Spiced Ham in a tin).
But what I didn't know is that the same company also has TM's in the following classes for the word SPAM:
Class 9: Sunglasses; frames for sunglasses; holders, cases and covers for mobile telephones; holders, cases and covers for sunglasses and eyeglasses; cases and holders for compact discs; accessories for eyeglasses and sunglasses; apparatus for recording, transmitting or reproducing sound or images; magnetic data carriers; recording discs of all types
Class 18: Backpacks; bags of all types in this class, including beach bags, carry bags, and overnight bags; briefcases; trunks and travelling bags; umbrellas; parasols; walking sticks; pocket wallets
Class 21: Cooler bags
Class 25: Hats, caps, beanies, visors, and other headgear; belts; shirts, including golf shirts and T-shirts; shorts; swimming costumes, including swim trunks; boxer shorts; underwear and other clothing; flip flop sandals; thongs; shoes, socks and other footwear
