Bunch of domains - junk or not junk?

Thought I'd throw some out there and see what others think. My inclinations are to develop domains (but if only I had more time!).

epitaph.com.au
lottery.net.au
chinavisa.com.au (semi-developed)
fairbanking.com.au
opalmine.com.au
operatinglease.net
printmaker.com.au
franchiseportal.com.au

Cheers,
Victor

They are certainly worth registering and renewing but I'm not sure any of them justify development in their own right unless one of them matches a particular need you already have.

ChinaVisa.com.au is probably the pick for me.

FairBanking.com.au is one of those that could, depending on the marketing people at the various banks, deliver you a windfall if a bank decided to use it for some campaign.

After all HappyBanking.com.au owned by BankWest, PrivateBanking.com.au by CBA and SmartBanking.com.au by NAB. This domain is every bit as good as those IMO.

Lottery

I can't recall but Did Frank Schilling get a couple of hundered thousand for http://www.lottery.net/

I don't know maybe that one for me however most here will say its rubbish because of .net.au I'd spend the $24 and hold it though

lottery.net.au -> Kw is nice but the gambling name associated with a .net is not great.
ChinaVisa -> good for an info site since chinavisas are generlaly harder to get and still involves a manual element to it
franchiseportal - no metric value but it sounds really good. could develop this to monetise based on leads to franchise groups. i see potential in that.

That occurred to me when I hand reg'd it.

Yee haw. I'll take offers around that mark ... lol

Focus on one or two better quality name, these aren't worth developing.

Having lurked on here a while, I feel privileged to now have been officially snoopy'd ... :)

That's what I've got up at the moment. BTW it is a bit disconcerting that you need to post in your original passport when you apply for a visa.

Thanks all.

Victor
