Bought a Template..um what now

Hi All,

I bought myself a wordpress template from templatemonster.com, now I have zip file on my desktop and have no idea on how to get it into wordpress?...l

Any advice would be so greatly appreciated!!!!! )

If you go into your wordpress control panel, assuming you have installed WP on your site, left hand menu click on themes, then centre top of page something like install themes, then choose to upload from your computer by using the "browse" feature to find the zip file.........then upload and hey presto it should install.

You can preview or activate....just choose activate and its done

hmmm....still having probs, goes through the process of uploading the zip file and then it keeps saying:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/fastfina/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/07.

Tried searching for solutions online, but out of my depth I think....any ideas?....please...lol...does it have something to do with my public html space?

your directory permissions may be wrong?

actually open the zip file first there might be some template monster junk in there that you dont need

Afraid i cant help you. I know where it goes but thats the extent of my knowledge

I would think template monster have got a support forum, you may need to access that. Its sure to be a common issue.
