"This morning, we have reported ASSA once again to auDA, and the fact that ASSA have ignored auDA and just gone ahead and registered more trademark-infringing expired domain names speaks volumes."

Their latest post going on about trademark-infringing, meanwhile the post author "Robert" is just as bad registering trademark-infringing domain names, which speaks volumes for his credibility.

Dunno about creditcards.id.au though.

The rules are:

id.au namespace

2.4.8 A Person applying for a licence in the id.au namespace must be:

  1. (1) a natural Person; and
  2. (2) the domain name being applied for must be:
    (a) a match to a Person’s legal name, first name or family name;
    (b) an acronym or abbreviation of the Person’s legal name, first name or family name; or
    (c) a nickname of the Person.

Maybe he has lots of nicknames?

Was Robert not on the actual panel that discussed the specific details of .au launch where it was hashed out that id.au domains will have the same rights, would be interesting to see what the actual create dates of the many id.au names he has were.

Surprising though, I can think of some nicknames which would be a perfect fit for him but they were available when I checked.

I think they captured a lot of egos by sticking them on panels, special focus groups and boards. Even more so when they put them in "charge".
