apple stores sale commissions

GEE i hope apple stores give the staff commisions.

i walked into our new apple store at fountaingate this morning in my "saturday daggies", heaps of sales people .... easy to spot in all the same tshirt.

3 of them walked past me ! no greeting, no hello can i help and then a lovely polite young girl said can i help.

i said " yes, i want an ipad mini in white, a shuffle in pink and another shuffle in blue please, heres my card "

"can i help you setup the mini"? "of course you can" and 3 minutes later i walk out the door.

GEE i hope she sticks that in the others face

From what I've noticed, they are meant to be tasked to specific people. At the door, you should be greeted by someone holding an iPad who directs you to where you want to go and organises someone to help you out.

the girl talked to me, i stated what i wanted and she punched it into her iphone, then this guy appears with my order, she then scanned my card and i walked out the door with the products.

it all took place at the location in the store that i was standing when she said hello.

I reckon you can walk into an Apple store and learn so much just through observation, it's fantastic how smoothly everything works.
