Spacey, I went to bed the other night and rethought my silly appraisal.

It's a good generic name; not A LOT of value undeveloped though. :)

i guess i am biased since i have an acoustic guitar, the thing is, it is such a popular thing to do, that to get the .net.au is still a buzz and well worth the reg fee in my eyes

Having said that about the only real guitar sales that are done online are rare vintage guitars purchased by very serious collectors

But it complements my musicforum/com/au domain ......always popular subjects

thanks for your views

Spacey, I like it - but obviously you need to develop.

I do disagree about guitar sales online though! My son has now purchased 6 guitars online - 3 through eBay; and 3 through online stores like Allans Music.

He has also sold a few on eBay!

Don't see any value in the name. Term not strong enough given the extension.

In terms of selling guitars online I would have thought this would be well suited to online sales, maybe some people want to test the specific guitar in store (in terms of slight differences amongst the same brand/model) but I still thin they'd sell well online.

Beginning to think you have a secret .net.au fetish and you don't want anyone else to snap them up

Ha ha ....... you may be correct

acoustic guitars are popular no matter what extension

Regards buying online i guess i am spoiled because all the guitar shops are just up the road in chapel street

i know someone who was selling collectible guitars online a few years back

i have always considered it to be an item you wish to pick up and peruse before any purchase is made

I would say that many would buy online but would always go into a store to see it first so the online prices would have to be considerably cheaper. It would be great if it was .com.au though may be worth something to the right person

If the guitar is secondhand you will wish to check the neck , tuning heads, body etc

maybe i am old fashioned in this respect
